Position summary
This graduate student will be an assistant to the Griggs International Academy registrar.
Qualifications summary
Must be a
graduate student who has approximately 18-20 hours per week during
normal working hours to work in the Griggs office on campus.
Duties and responsibilities
- Process Standardized Tests
- Communicate with students, proctors, administration, and financial services
- Enter data in spreadsheets and student information system
- Troubleshoot testing issues with test proctors and students
- Process retake exams
- Organization of data and files
- Systematic shredding of documents
- Assist with processing diplomas
- Scan documents for filing in the vault and digitally
- Release midterm exams, final exams, and projects
- Keep testing spreadsheet up-to-date and accurate
- Handle mailings and photocopying
- Continuous organization of vault
- Assist with Affiliates’ enrollments
- Good technical skills--be able to use spreadsheets, Google Docs, etc.
- Answer general inquiries and take messages
- Assist registrar in projects

Qualifications
Must be a
graduate student who has approximately 18-20 hours per week during
normal working hours to work in the Griggs office on campus. Studying education is a plus, but not required.
Technical competencies
Must be tech-savy and ble to use (or able to learn to use) Excel, SIS, Zoom, and other tech systems as required.
Interpersonal interactions
Must be able to interact with students, parents, and GIA staff in a friendly and helpful manner.
Physical demands
Must be able to sit and type.
Work environment
Office environment. Moderate noise level.
