Sophie Milman in Concert

Enjoy various Broadway and contemporary jazz selections by Sophie Milman and her band.

Sophie Milman, 24-year-old jazz sensation, will present a concert with contemporary jazz pieces and Broadway hits at 8 pm in the Howard Performing Arts Center.

Her self-titled debut album was released in 2004 and has sold 100,000 copies worldwide. She maintains an active touring schedule in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Japan, and Europe while continuing commerce studies at the University of Toronto. Her second album, Make Someone Happy, was released in June 2007.

Joining her is her band--instrumentalist, composer, and arranger Cameron Wallis; pianist Paul Shrofel; drummer John Fraboni; and bassist Kieran Overs.

Tickets cost $20, or $10 for terrace seats, and Andrews University students only pay $5 for rush tickets. Call the Howard Box Office at 471-3560 for tickets or more information.
