Be sure to bring Photo ID or a Red Cross Donor Card. Blood donors will sign up for a 15 minute appointment. This reduces lines and saves time. Please visit www.givelife.org to register and pick a time slot. Online sign-ups close down the day before the blood drive. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-signing up is desired. Remember to iron up! Every year many are turned away because of low iron. Avoid that by eating foods like iron fortified cereals, beans, raisins and prunes.
