The 19th Annual Summer School of Addictions focus this year is "FOOD: What a Waist! A New Look at the Consequences of Obesity, its Prevention and Treatment.” Learn directly from several exciting professionals in the fields of nutrition, bariatric surgery, religion, psychology, sociology, medicine, public health and government. The special guest will be Bernie Salazar, NBC's ‘Biggest Loser’ Season 5 at-home winner. Speakers include: Evelyn Cole-Kissinger, Vicki Griffin, Michael Schuhknecht and others. SSA is being held in the Teen Loft of Pioneer Memorial Church May 4–7. A total of 1–3 academic credits BHSC438-001, BHSC648-001, SWOK438-001, SWOK648-001 or 24 clock hours for continuing education are available.
