Sudden Passing of Rob Fulbright

It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of our longtime Florida Hospital executive and friend, Rob Fulbright.  Rob suffered a sudden cardiac event Sunday evening and passed away Tuesday at Florida Hospital Orlando, surrounded by his loving family.

Rob was a part of Adventist Health System for 25 years, most recently as the CEO of our East Florida Region. Prior to joining the team in the East Region, Rob served as senior executive officer and administrator of Florida Hospital Orlando, with additional oversight over Florida Hospital Winter Garden.  He previously served in leadership positions at Florida Hospital locations in Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, DeLand, Kissimmee and Tennessee Christian Medical Center.

He is known for shaping a culture of excellence and highly engaged teams, a passion for whole person health and his support of physician well-being.  Rob was such an extraordinary person.  His infectious smile and warm personality will be profoundly missed by the countless lives he touched.
Most importantly, Rob was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother and friend.  Our heartfelt condolences go out to Rob’s wife, Yvonne, and their daughters Alexandra, Sophia, Isabella and Victoria.

You are personally invited to support the Fulbright family in their time of mourning. Funeral arrangements for Rob will take place Friday, April 14 at 11 am, at Calvary Orlando Church, located at 1199 Clay Street in Winter Park, with visitation prior from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. 

Funeral services will also be streamed live at floridahospitallive.com.

A graveside service will take place immediately following the funeral at the Highland Memory Gardens, 3229 East Semoran Blvd., Apopka (near Forest Lake Academy).
