Memorial Service for Chet Damron

Chet Henry Damron, long-time member of the Berrien Springs community and former chaplain in Campus MInistries, “Uncle Dan” on Your Story Hour episodes and fondly known for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln, died on Sunday morning, Oct. 1, 2017 in a care center in Florida. Chet earned two degrees from Andrews University, an MA in Bible and systematic theology in 1958 and an MA in education in 1967.

His memorial service will be held on Sabbath, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m. in Pioneer Memorial Church. There will be a visitation with the family from 3–4 p.m., also at PMC.

The memorial service will also be available as a livestream.
