Alumnus Becomes AdventHealth University President

In the presence of local and national dignitaries, students, alumni, and faculty today, AdventHealth University inaugurated C. Josef Ghosn, EdD, FACHE, its third president and CEO.

Dr. Ghosn, who joined AHU in May 2023, has extensive leadership experience in health care administration. Most recently, he served as vice president of strategic planning for AdventHealth’s Multistate Division and prior to that, as AdventHealth Florida Division’s senior vice president for strategic planning. Dr. Ghosn was a tenured professor and associate dean of academic affairs at Atlantic Union College. He also served as a professor of business and education at Southern Adventist University and as an adjunct professor of healthcare administration at AdventHealth University. Dr. Ghosn holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a master of business administration degree with a Healthcare Administration emphasis from Andrews University.
