These talented students from the Department of Music at Andrews University will perform some of the most beautiful and challenging works of the symphony's repertoire.  Join us on this unique evening of virtuosity and elegance, and enjoy the music of Clara Schumann, W. A. Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Donizetti and Tchaikovsky.  We are happy to offer this concert to our community free of charge, but patrons will have the opportunity to support the students of the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra, as they are currently raising funds for their music tour to California this coming March.   Program   “Meine Seele ist erschüttert”—L. In addition to their current series at the Howard Performing Arts Center, the Symphony Orchestra travels within the Great Lakes region as well as internationally. Since 2006, the orchestra has performed in Italy, Austria, Germany, France, the Philippines and Costa Rica. On Feb. 1, the Department of Physics Enterprises officially closed and is moving its operations to the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship under the leadership of Director Matias Soto. Newly appointed student managers will oversee daily operations, and the Andrews Service Corporation will manage finances. Michael Bryson, current director of Physics Enterprises, has been carefully planning and supervising this transition and will hand over leadership to Soto and his team. Physics Enterprises, founded in 1977 by Bruce Lee, professor of physics, has served the Andrews campus and the global educational community for nearly 50 years with products such as the Wave Motion Demonstrator and Diffusion Cloud Chamber. Under the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, it will carry on providing elementary, secondary and college teachers with high-quality equipment at economically accessible prices, while continuing to financially and otherwise support Andrews University and its mission.
