“<em>The Spade Confirms the Book</em> Revisited” by Dr. Randall Younker, with a response by Dr. Lawrence T. Geraty.</p>
<p>
2017 marks 50 years since the beginning of the Madaba Plains Project, a major milestone in the Adventist archaeological community. This lecture will revisit Siegfried H. Horn's landmark publication <em>The Spade Confirms the Book</em>, and will examine the role of archaeology in Biblical studies today.</p>
<p>
This lecture is free and open to the public.</p>
