Horn Museum warmly invites you to the next event in the Horn Lectureship Series on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Seminary chapel.</p> <p> We are honored to welcome Eva Katarina Glazer, who will present: <strong>&quot;Beyond the Sea Peoples: Rethinking the 1200 BCE Collapse.&quot; </strong>Around 1200 BCE, the great powers of the ancient Near East&mdash;Hittites, Mycenaeans, Egyptians and Canaanite city-states&mdash;experienced what has long been called a &ldquo;catastrophic collapse.&rdquo; But was it truly the end of civilizations or the beginning of something new?</p> <p> Glazer will explore fascinating evidence of trade networks, migrations and cultural resilience, reconsidering whether the story of the Sea Peoples is myth, history or something in between.
