Honor Band Festival

107 selected band students from 12 area middle schools will perform at the Howard.

Benton Harbor Area Schools and the Department of Music are coordinating this new event which will involve 107 selected band students from 12 area middle schools. Students will spend the day on campus rehearsing music together in preparation for an evening concert under the direction of clinician and conductor, Alan Mitchell, at the Howard Performing Arts Center.

Denisse Brumbelow, director of fine arts for Benton Harbor area schools is the festival coordinator. This non-competitive event gives students and their band directors an opportunity to work together toward a common goal. For questions about this event, contact Denisse Brumbelow at 269-605-1453.
