Seminary: Fall Classical Concert

A free chamber music concert will be presented by the students, staff,
faculty and friends of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary
on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at 7 p.m. in the Seminary Chapel. All are
invited. Admission is free and refreshments will follow the program.
The concert will feature:
• Dumka by Tchaikovsky, piano solo by Olena Rybachek
• Flute solo by Karen Abrahamson, accompanied by Kathy Ekkins
• Sicilienne by Faure, cello solo by Tom Shepherd, accompanied by Roy Gane

Sonata VII in E Minor by Boismortier by the Seminary Flute Ensemble:
Lauren Matacio, Lori Covrig, Betty Gibson, Rachel Sauer and Tito
Charneco
• Concerto in C Minor by Marcello, soprano saxophone by Tito Charneco, accompanied by Kathy Ekkens
• Andante by Molique, flute solo by Jamie Kiley, accompanied by Jinah Jeon
• Vocalise by Rachmaninoff, violin solo by Marla Nedelcu, accompanied by Rahel Schafer
• ’Fifths’ Quartet by Haydn by the Seminary String Quartet: Eric Anderson, Christy Parfet, Ezra Haugabrooks and Tom Shepherd.
