Graduation Deadlines

Important Dates for Graduation

As you prepare for graduation, here are some steps to review to make sure you are fully prepared.

·       Please take a look at your course plan. Using iVue, you can review your academic record and make sure to update any courses taken, grades, etc. If you have any transfer credits, please make sure petitions are complete for those. If you do not have a copy of your course plan, please contact us at leader@andrews.edu and we can email it to you. 

·       If all graduation requirements and paperwork are met, we will begin working on your Advancement to Candidacy.

Here are important dates to know as you go into the next semester.

·       The deadline to submit the Graduation Application is Thursday January 16, 2020

o   A late fee of $95 will begin after the application deadline

o   Students must be on regular status to apply for graduation

o   Off campus sites use the PDF application

·       The deadline to submit the Advancement to Candidacy (ATC)/Recommendation for Graduation Form (DMIN, MDIV,MAYYAM, MAPM) is now.

o   Degree Works will be used as the degree audit for students in the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 bulletins

o   Students in previous bulletin years will use the ATC with the course check sheet

o   For students using Degree Works, the top page of the ATC is required as well. The course check sheet is not required for those students using Degree Works.

·       Comprehensive Exams (if required by the program) must be completed by Friday April 3, 2020

·       Comprehensive Examination Result forms must be completed by April 22, 2020

Diplomas and official transcripts are available for pick up and ordering, respectively, two weeks after graduation for those students who are financially cleared.  Diploma mailing begins approximately 4 weeks after the graduation date for financially cleared students. For additional graduation information, you can visit Andrews Graduation page here.
