The 8th annual Summit on Social Consciousness will be streamed live on Facebook on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. This year’s summit will explore the socio-economic and racial disparities between how various social groups are being affected by the novel coronavirus pandemic. We will seek to understand some of the underlying causes for the disproportionate impact and how the pandemic may widen existing gaps. Together we will consider ways we can advocate for change that can transform communities and save lives. Audience interaction will be possible through questions and/or comments on Facebook.
