Innovation Week at Andrews University
March 27–April 1, 2023
The Andrews University Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship is excited to announce Innovation Week 2023, which will take place from March 27–April 1. The week will feature a variety of events and activities, some of which will be open to the public.
Innovation Week begins on Tuesday, March 28, with an Entrepreneurship Lunch that is open to students only. This lunch will take place in the Buller Hall Student Lounge and will start at 11:30 a.m. Please RSVP for the event at https://f0alv76a.paperform.co/.
On Wednesday, March 29, the semifinals of the Pitch Competition will take place in Chan Shun Hall, Garber Auditorium. Presentations will take place during two different times, 9–11 a.m. and 1–3 p.m. This event is open to the public.
Thursday, March 30, features several Breakout Sessions at 11:30 a.m. The sessions will include “Literature Evangelism & Entrepreneurship” (iCanvass Club, Buller Hall, Room 108), “Social Innovation” (Sung Kwon, Buller Hall, Room 149), “For-profit Innovation” (Joshua Sanabria, Chan Shun Hall, Garber Auditorium), “Social Media for Entrepreneurs” (Kevin Wilson, Harrigan Hall, Room 328) and “Innovation & the Bible” (Anthony Bosman, Oliver Glanz and Rahel Wells, Buller Hall, Room 150). Kinetic Vespers will conclude the day in the University Towers Auditorium with speaker Natasha Richards, who will speak on the theme “Free to Change the World.” All of the day’s events are open to University students and employees only.
On Friday, March 31, the Pitch Competition finals will be held at the Howard Performing Arts Center from 2–4 p.m. with a reception in the lobby immediately following. Proximity Vespers will then be held in the Howard Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. Kevin Wilson will speak for vespers on the theme “Innovation: What the World Needs Today.” All of the Friday events are open to the general public.
Innovation Week will come to a close on Saturday, April 1, with a fellowship lunch in the Campus Center, Badger Room. This lunch is open to Andrews students and employees, as well as Innovation Week presenters and exhibitors.
Innovation Week is sponsored by the Andrews University Graduate Student Association (AUGSA), Center for Faith Engagement, Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and School of Leadership.
