"Women in Leadership: Agents of Growth" Series

The Andrews University School of Leadership will host a series of “Women in Leadership: Agents of Growth” webinars from June 5–26, 2023. Each Monday, beginning at 6:45 p.m. EST, educational, organizational, ministerial and health care leaders will share their lived experiences regarding women in leadership.

Featured speakers include: Heather Dawn Small, director of Women’s Ministries at the General Conference; Madeline Martinez, interim associate director for the Center for Academic Excellence at North Carolina A&T; Rika Meyer, marketing and communications manager for AdventHealth Georgia; Lowell Cooper, retired vice president of the General Conference; Jiří Moskala, dean of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University; and Pardon Mwansa, former vice president of the General Conference. The webinars will be available through Zoom. Those in attendance will be able to submit questions and dialogue together in breakout rooms.

Participants interested in more extensive studies on the topic “Women in Leadership” are encouraged to register for the summer courses LEAD 689 997 (2238) Seminar: Women in Leadership or LEAD 789 999 (2239) Advanced Seminar: Women in Leadership.
