Department of Music "Christmas Extravaganza"

The “Christmas Extravaganza” concert will take place on Dec. 7 and 8 in the Howard Performing Arts Center.
The Andrews University Department of Music will present its “Christmas Extravaganza" concert on Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center. A repeat performance will also take place on Dec. 8.
The event will feature the University Singers and Chorale under the direction of Stephen Zork, the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Marc Élysée and the Wind Symphony under the direction of Denisse Santos. It will also include students from the piano studio of Chi Yong Yun and string ensembles from the studio of Carla Trynchuk.
The concert will feature holiday favorites such as “Of the Father’s Love Begotten and “Patapan,” scenes from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite,” and Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.
