Religious liberty is a key element in the life of a human being. Nobody is allowed to persecute another human being on the basis of different religious views. Daniel experienced this firsthand when he faced persecution for his views in two empires. This story provides an overview of the religious liberty issues in the Medo-Persian Empire in the times of Daniel.
