Biography

Professional Background: Alison embarked on her nursing career with a solid foundation from Lake Michigan College, graduating in 2011. She dedicated most of her career to Maternity Services, providing exceptional care and support to mothers and newborns. Her passion for neonatal care led her to her current role as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse at Elkhart General Hospital.

Career in Education: Driven by a deep-seated passion for nursing education, Alison pursued and attained her master’s degree in nursing education from Ferris State University in 2023. She began her teaching career at Ivy Tech Community College, where she taught both didactic and clinical courses in the Nursing program over the course of three semesters. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of nurses brought her to Andrews University, where she continues to inspire and educate future healthcare professionals.
