Biography

Kathleen is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing.  She has over 25 years of experience in clinical practice and leadership roles across hospital settings. Throughout her career, she has collaborated and worked with educational departments, physicians, interprofessional teams, nursing leaders, and administrators to advance patient care and professional development.

Beyond her professional work, Kathleen is actively involved in her community. She served for many years as a church clerk within her local congregation and continues to participate in outreach initiatives. She has also contributed as Treasurer within the Michigan Organization of Nursing Leaders (MONL). She remains engaged and enthusiastic in Prison Ministry.

Her professional interests include engagement, leadership development, education, healthcare advocacy, and lifelong learning. Kathleen is passionate about integrating faith into practice, combining spiritual values with clinical excellence to promote a holistic approach to health and well-being.
