With winter break quickly approaching after the conclusion of finals week, Andrews University students, faculty and staff are ready for a long academic break. With Thanksgiving behind us, the holiday season’s official start is here, providing time for many to indulge in reconnecting with family and friends, giving to others, and ample time to relax. However, for some, this time of year may not be as joyful and can be lonesome.

Students who will be remaining on the university campus during the month-long break from Dec. 13 to Jan. 12 may be vulnerable to feelings of loneliness, boredom and homesickness.
